This sanctuary is the 2nd largest pilgrimage center in Portugall, where pilgrims have been flocking since the 17th century. From the Basilica to the crypt, with its beautiful tiles alluding to biblical scenes, culminating with its magical landscape surrounding the magnificent landscapes of Serra do Gerês, which we can enjoy from the top of the viewpoint of the Sanctuary.
