Porto Destination Guide
Known for its historic architecture, delicious wine, and stunning views of the Douro River, Porto is a must-visit destination for any traveler.

Restaurante DOP
Located in the historic center of Porto, a World Heritage Site, the DOP restaurant is surrounded by the most beautiful monuments, authentic ex-libris of the city: Torre dos Clérigos, Palácio da Bolsa, Instituto do Vinho do Porto, Mercado Ferreira Borges and the churches of S. Francisco and S. Nicolau.
The DOP is part of the Palácio das Artes-Fábrica de Talentos, also a historic building that once served as a porch to the former Convent of S. Domingos and home to prestigious financial entities such as Banco de Lisboa (now Banco de Portugal) or Companhia de Seguros Douro. Throughout the 14th century, the building maintained great activity as a stage for auctions and city council meetings.
The concept of the Palácio das Artes fits perfectly with the project by Rui Paula, who understands gastronomy as a field of creation with a strong cultural component.
