Now is the time to visit one of the pearls of the Alto-Minho region: the Sanctuary of Santa Luzia.

Built at the beginning of the 20th century, at the top of Santa Luzia hill, this Sanctuary is based on a Roman-Byzantine basilica, whose imposing rose bushes are the largest in the Iberian Peninsula and the second largest from Europe. There, we will contemplate what was considered by National Geographic Magazine as the third most beautiful panorama in the world.
