A landscape with a historical background starting with the founders of the Avis Dynasty.

The architecture of the Palace, its decoration and the gardens have been influenced over the centuries by the different owners, inspired by their travels through Europe, Africa and the East, or simply as Maecenas surrounding themselves with artists, contributing to turn it into a unique jewel.

Over time, the Quinta has been embellished with Portuguese tile walls from the 17th century. XV and XVI evoking Moorish designs and with a lake house overlooking the Quinta. From the inside to the outside, you can see unique pieces from a private art collection, passing through the gardens and vineyards to the lake house where you can find the first dated tile in Portugal.

At the end of the visit you will participate in a wine tasting 4 Bacalhôa wines, designated by Prova Catarina de Bragança, which includes the Sparkling Aliança Baga, the Bacalhôa Alvarinho White, the Quinta da Bacalhôa Red and the Bacalhôa Moscatel de Setúbal 2003, accompanied by Cheese from Azeitão PDO.
