Vallecula
Located in the center of Valhelhas, in Pelourinho square, the Vallecula restaurant (the old Roman name for Valhelhas) is a pleasant space where the food is traditional but which nevertheless reserves surprises for the palate. One of the biggest attractions of the Serra da Estrela region are its beautiful and traditional villages. In the picturesque village of Valhelhas, in a well-restored shale house, we will find this restaurant (in operation since July 2000) dedicated to making some of the most appreciated Beira specialties. The service is friendly and the owner is knowledgeable about the entire region and of exquisite flavors. Small house, all in stone with lots of wood, with a bar in front, which precedes the kitchen, on top of which there are decorative pieces.
